Reels
After a long busy day we are waiting a quiet moment after the kids get sleep , during the day our brain tell us when the kids slep we have to do amazing things to feel “the meaning of freedom ” , but when the moment has come we feel exhausted and started tidy up the messy house quickly then set on your cosy chair and take your favorite drink .
Some days you feel active and start learnig something new or reading a book and other days you just scrolling on social media and once a reel is suggested to you , you start watch a long chain of reels.
One of them may be carry an important information for you but since you sleep these information are deleted from your brain .
I noticed this after catching myself watching reels and start justify it “it is important ” but it is not .
my brain is much important than stuffing it with any kind of information it doesn’t matter before sleep ,so i know that .all of us love this time we are saying “I take a break” but our brains not we still feed it by inputs . So I start take small steps first I hide shorts/ reels from all applications and any content I don’t care about .
I bet my self to open my phone if i want to search about some thing not for waste time or cause of being bored then I found myself become more calmer than before and I force myself to read long articles to come back to reading books without feeling boring , step by step I will apply slow living routine , the speed of life increase stress and anxiety rates and as a mom or a woman I Need to be calm for my job as a mom , wife and for myself before anyone ..
Challenge yourself to reduce reels you used to watch every day gradually and observe your behavior , emotions and you will see the difference ..
