How to Get Kids to Eat Zucchini (Even If They Don’t Like It)
Despite the health benefits of veggies, some of us don’t like them and some kids are picky eaters too.
Sometimes we have to hide veggies in our food to make kids eat it and take its natural vitamins.
My kids don’t like zucchini taste or texture, so I tried many recipes from cooked it by stir fry, fry, and put it in a burger.
I wanna share my kid’s favorites zucchini recipes with you
Mixed burger
1 lb ground meat
1 chopped medium onion
1 tsp dijon mustard
2 medium grated zucchini
1 tbsp bread crumbs
1 egg
Salt, black pepper as desired
Half packet burger spices
Before I mix ingredients I sprinkle salt on the zucchini and let it sit for 5 minutes then I squeeze it until the water comes out then put all ingredients in a food processor and blend it well then I shape it like burgers and cook it in a non-stick pan with little oil until burger be well done.
After my kids eat their burgers I told them there is a magic that makes us healthy and supplies our bodies with vitamin c & A, potassium, magnesium,
this component is zucchini. My kids were shocked but I told them “I know zucchini has not the best taste but we’re working on that we can create some recipes that taste good “
Next time I let them help me when I prepared it, it was fun and a quality time for them.
